Pipeline Heater Overview: A pipeline heater is an electric heating device used to heat gases or liquids by inserting heating tubes inside a cylindrical insulation container. Pipeline heaters are known for their fast heating speed, excellent insulation performance, and high heating temperatures.

Pipeline heaters consist of two main parts: the main body and the control system. The heating element is protected by a stainless steel tube, filled with high-temperature-resistant alloy wire and crystalline magnesium oxide powder, formed through compression technology. Pipeline Heater Structural Types: Pipeline heaters come in two designs: horizontal and vertical, both operating on the same principle.

  1. The vertical pipeline heater has a small footprint but requires height, while the horizontal heater has a larger footprint but no height restriction.
  2. Available materials for both vertical and horizontal heaters include carbon steel, stainless steel SUS304, SUS316L, SUS310S, etc. The appropriate material is selected based on the heating process requirements.
  3. The heater uses flange-type electric heating tubes with specially designed flow diversion plates to ensure uniform heating and efficient absorption of heat by the heating medium.
  4. For high-temperature applications (with outlet temperatures greater than 500°C), high-temperature-resistant stainless steel SUS310S electric radiation heating tubes are used, with outlet temperatures reaching up to 700°C.
